Terms of Use
For the most part, you can do anything you want with your website hosting account, but there are a few things that will not be tolerated and may result in suspension of your account.
- Don't be an asshole. Obviously I don't have a problem wih offensive language, but if your content is found to be purposely offensive to an individual or group, you may need to look for another website hosting provider. In general, I don't bother reading client websites, so it would be a complaint that brings offensive content to my attention. This kind of conduct will be dealt with on a case by case basis, and as a client you will be given an opportunity to explain your content.
- No porn. A little nudity here and there is probably OK, but if it's central to your website's content, you should probably find another website hosting provider.
- No fraud. If multiple complaints about your website fall under the category of fraud, your website will be immediately suspended. I will reach out to you to give you an opportunity to explain the circumstances. If law enforcement gets involved, I will be cooperating with them completely.
- No SPAM. This one is far more subjective than the others, because SPAM laws are complicated, technical and it's very easy to unintentionally step over the line. Mailing lists can often initiate SPAM complaints. Another source of SPAM is from hacked accounts where the hacker has placed automated scripts that send out emails from your account.
If you have any other questions, check the knowledge base, which gets updated frequently. Or you could, just ask.
